Suggestions on snow shoe trips
One day: On daytrips you are recommended to hike in the area south of the village Kloten.
Two days: On two days excursions you are recommended hike in the are south of Kloten one day an in the area north of Kloten on day two. The night you are recommended to spend in Bed & Breakfast in Kloten. To stay at the Wilderness Lodge is also an excellent option the night before and after the snow shoe excursion.
The Wilderness Lodge is located in the heart of the Nature Reserve Malingsbo/Kloten, 50 meters from the snow shoe rental.

The snow shoes are made in modern hard plastic material and can be used with loose or firm heal. Loose heal is to prefer when it is steep uphill. Firm heal is to prefer when the snow is deep. The sturdy straps give the possibility to a firm adjustment. Metal support at the front and at the back for a good and firm grip. The snow shoes match all hiking shoes and ski hiking boots. The snow shoes are of good quality and in very good shape. The equipment is from 2011-2009.

The rent of snow shoes includes: Snow shoes with adjustment to the clients boots, simple map and safety ice nails in case you plan to cross ice on top of deep water. Detailed maps are for sale .

The snow shoe rental is open on bookings from the middle of December to the end of March.
