The canoe trail Arbogaån / Southern Arbogaån in Sweden

Arbogaån flows peacefully through a pretty flat landscape except for some small rapids. The trip starts in Frövi at the lake Väringen. The first 7 kilometers is lake paddling, followed by pure river paddling all the way until the lake, Mälaren. The last few kilometers after Kungsör consist once more of lake paddling. Arboga offers the paddlers some culture: the stone studios, brewery and industrial museum. Arboga's original wood house settlement still exists due to a fortunate absence of big fires.

Trackless Excursions

The paddler is a guest in the nature and is required to demonstrate responsibility and care. Not to harm and not to destroy. We have the right to enjoy Swedish nature, but there is also a duty to behave responsibly. The paddler’s only trace should be the whirlpools from the paddles.
