Canoeing and kayaking in the Malingsbo - Kloten Nature Reserve is described on >>

The canoeing and kayaking in the Malingsbo - Kloten Nature Reserve represent wilderness paddling. The other canoe trails in Bergslagen are different in the respect that they sometimes pass civilization - farms, villages and sometimes even settlements. The Malingsbo - Kloten Nature Reserve is in many respects, the recommended river.

Nordic Discovery rents out canoes and kayaks and provides a very good transport service along Bergslagen's canoe trails. All canoe trails are along considerably easy rivers which don’t require previous knowledge or athletic paddlers. Along some trails, however, there are obstacles due to fallen trees. The Malingsbo - Kloten Nature Reserve, Strömsholms Kanal and Hjälmare Kanal represent calm water paddling. These three rivers also offer the easiest paddling. There are no obstacles in the respect of fallen trees. The other rivers offer light, thrilling portions of rapids and also some obstacles in the respect of fallen trees.

Nordic Discovery offers a very good transport service along the canoe trails in Västmanland and the south of Dalarna. We wish you a warm welcome to Bergslagen, which has a lot to offer the keen paddler.
